What's Included?
Kenya Experience x Find Your Stride
Experience the magic of Iten, Kenya, with a camp that combines structured training, full-board accommodation at HATC, and total immersion in Kenyan running culture. We take care of everything, from airport transfers to expert pacing by local runners, so you can focus entirely on your training and recovery.
While Kenyan athletes develop natural rhythm and elasticity from childhood, replicating this fluid style can be difficult. This Special Edition camp bridges that gap by providing the expert guidance needed to unlock that same effortless efficiency.
You will be joined by biomechanics expert and founder of ‘Find Your Stride’, Myles Rawson. As part of our coaching team, Myles will lead a comprehensive programme of technical workshops, video analysis, and movement assessments designed to refine your form and build a more resilient, springy, and efficient running gait.
What’s Included in the Special Edition Workshops?
1. Running Technique Workshops
The camp begins with foundational workshops featuring before and after video analysis. You will gain crystal-clear insights into your gait, supported by a takeaway eBook.
Focus: Posture, foot strike, head position, and glute utilisation. Learn to become more “elastic,” leading to long-term improvements in running economy.
2. Advanced Running Dynamics
Explore key performance indicators such as stride length, cadence, ground contact time, and vertical oscillation. Understanding and influencing these metrics provides a powerful roadmap for speed progression and injury resilience.
3. Trail Running Technique
Iten’s terrain is famously varied. This dedicated session teaches you how to move efficiently uphill and downhill on uneven surfaces, making full use of your body’s natural suspension system.
4. Strength, Mobility, and Movement Assessments
Identify limiting factors through professional assessments. We focus on building a resilient frame – targeting the feet, hamstrings, hips, and glutes—while correcting postural issues caused by modern daily life.
5. Recovery and Fuelling Education
Learn to build recovery into your training as a structured process. This covers nutrition timing and techniques for calming the central nervous system to ensure you are ready for the next day’s miles.
A Skill Set for Life
You won’t just learn to run better; you’ll do it in the most supportive environment on earth, leaving with a clear plan and skills that will support your running for years to come.
